Interim Chief Marketing Officer

Tom Murray was appointed Interim Chief Marketing Officer of Mattress Firm in March 2025. In this role, he leads the company’s marketing strategy, overseeing brand positioning, consumer engagement, product marketing and advertising initiatives to drive growth and brand awareness.

Murray is a seasoned marketing executive with extensive experience in leading global brands. Before joining Mattress Firm, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Tempur Sealy International, where he was responsible for marketing strategy across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he held senior marketing leadership roles at ADT Security Services, TomTom Inc. and Carbonite Inc. His career also includes executive positions with Procter & Gamble, The Gillette Company, The White Rain Company and Duracell, USA.

With a proven track record of building strong consumer brands and driving impactful marketing strategies, Murray brings a wealth of expertise to Mattress Firm as it continues to elevate its brand and customer experience.
