Bruce Robinson currently serves as Senior Vice President, Real Estate for Mattress Firm. A respected leader with more than 30 years of experience in construction and real estate, he oversees all aspects of the company’s real estate strategy, including market planning, site selection, lease negotiation, renewals, facilities maintenance, construction and lease administration. As an integral part of Mattress Firm’s executive leadership team, he drives long-term market strategy and ensures the company’s real estate footprint supports the company’s objectives.
Since joining Mattress Firm in 2017, Bruce has led a high-performing team responsible for new and relocated store locations, managing all warehouse locations nationwide and optimizing the existing store portfolio through renewals, relocations and strategic closures. He collaborates closely with Construction, Development, Finance, Legal, Sales and Operations teams to align real estate decisions with enterprise goals.
Before joining Mattress Firm, Bruce held senior leadership roles at several iconic brands, including Regis Corporation, Sally Beauty Holdings, Which Wich, Starbucks Coffee Company and Blockbuster, where he successfully built and led teams, opened hundreds of stores, delivered significant cost savings through renewals and portfolio optimization and implemented strategic growth plans across the U.S.
Bruce earned his B.S. in Building Construction from Texas A&M University. He is known for his integrity, collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing talent within his teams.
