Mattress Firm Donates $118,000 to #FirstRespondersFirst to Support the Mental Health of Frontline Workers

HOUSTON (May 28, 2021) – Mattress Firm announced today a $118,000 donation to #FirstRespondersFirst, an initiative that supports the physical and psychological well-being of healthcare workers and first responders on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation will allow #FirstRespondersFirst to continue their efforts to prioritize the mental health and well-being of frontline workers nationwide. The funds, which were raised as part of the #GiveThanksNotPranks Campaign, will be dedicated to help scale initiatives that focus on providing healthcare workers with the opportunity to rest and recharge as they continue their life-saving work on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We were honored to join #GiveThanksNotPranks to raise funds and awareness for the hardworking and deserving frontline workers and first responders across our county,” said Ramin Eivaz, Chief Marketing Officer at Mattress Firm. “With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, it is our hope that this donation allows some of our nation’s most deserving frontline workers to get rest and recharge they deserve.”
