Larry Fultz is the Chief Human Capital Officer for Mattress Firm. Since taking over the role in December 2017, Fultz oversees all aspects of Human Resources including the Change Management, Culture, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards departments.
Fultz has more than 37 years of leadership, retail and human resources experience, having held various roles with companies such as Whirlpool Corporation, LexisNexis, Cintas, Vanguard Health, and Limited Brands, including The Limited and Victoria’s Secret. He brings a proven track record for creating high performance teams, while driving top line profitable sales growth. Larry is a member of The Sierra Institute, an organization for Fortune 1000 CHRO leaders and has been a guest presenter at SHRM, Gallup, and various universities including, Ohio State University and Vanderbilt University. He is an active supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Center and Mattress Firm Foster Kids.
Fultz holds a B.S. and M.B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Finance from the University of Dayton. In his free time, Fultz loves traveling with his family and golfing. He lives in Houston with his wife and is a proud father and grandfather to his three children and new granddaughter.
